The hospital specialist palliative care team review people requiring symptom control, psychological, social or spiritual support, or support in the last days of life. We are also happy to provide teaching to staff or organise placements with the team.

If you wish to make a referral please contact switchboard for the staff member taking referrals. Please have the patient’s name, CHI number, diagnosis and reason for referral ready when you call.

There are face to face reviews available 9am-5pm seven days per week. Outwith these hours, consultant telephone advice is available to medical staff or advanced practitioners via switchboard (01387 246246).
